Recently I enjoyed a movie that starred Hugh Jackman and it was all about the history of circus. The truth is, I never had the opportunity of visiting a circus or had seen a grand circus act in my entire life so the movie was actually the next best thing for me. The experience was a combination of emotions, but for sure, it was all worthwhile.
Working in a circus, especially during its hay days, was never an easy one. Either you were the star of the show because you are a freak or you offer sweat and blood in order to perform death-defying acts. All those humiliation and sacrifices were all done just to make the audience laugh and be amazed.

Nowadays, we rarely hear a circus running or traveling for shows.
